Easter Holiday in Philidelphia

We spent Easter weekend in Philadelphia. Lise and I have length talked about the will would be interesting to revisit Philadelphia, partly historical monuments (Benjamin Franklin grav, Independence hall, Frihed clock) which we last saw when Trine and Mette was in stroller, but also some of the special dishes that the area is known for (Philly CheeseSteak).

For Trine, Mette og Sarah var det naturligvis også spændende at besøge denne del af den amerikanske historie, because in history lessons at school have learned about liberty bell, independence Treaty, and several other historical events from when Philadelphia was the US capital. Nu havde de så mulighed for selv at relaterer til tingene. Sarah cried almost constantly, it is… or it has haft the school…

We had of course past the Philadelphia Museum of Art, not because we are particularly interested in art, but more of an interest in running up the stairs in front of the Museum as Rocky the making of the film. Trine, Mette, Sarah and I ran full speed up the stairs, while Lise laughed and took the quiet and calm to the top. As we stood in front of the entrance, it was obviously a bit of a disappointment to discover that the statue of Rocky had been moved to the foot of the building, men vi blev da fotograferet sammen med statuen 🙂

Lunch was taken at Jim's Steaks, which should be one of the original Cheesesteak resturancer in town. The girls felt certain that they had no desire to taste, but they ate but their cheesesteak and sage afterwards that it actually tasted good times.

Slut for nu, det må være tid til Pictures.
